April 5, 2021 - NeuroSynthetica's website unveiled, introducing the company and describing the company's Sentience Engine™ and Workbench products, and business model. Community portal and licensing programs launched.
Simulation Project Spark Version 5.0
March 3, 2021 - NeuroSynthetica's Sentience Engine™, Workbench, and robot and plugin support are productized and released at the 5.0 level.
Simulation Project Spark Version 4.0
November 2, 2019 - NeuroSynthetica's fourth version of the Sentience Engine™ technology is started, adding multi-server support, and optimizing server performance, including specialized support for at-scale neurogenesis. Workbench technology is expanded to include SOMA™, a new modeling language.
Simulation Project Spark Version 3.0
February 17, 2019 - NeuroSynthetica founder Steve Jones starts the third major version of his neural network simulator, adding user security, model input and output, and multiprocessing. The Workbench product's early GTK implementation was replaced by a modern ground-up UI implementation compatible with Wayland and XWindows. Dashboards with configurable widgets, WBAPI, and many other technologies were invented.
Simulation Project "Spark" Begins
January 2018 - NeuroSynthetica founder Steve Jones implements first version of the neural network simulation server after years of experiments and thought experiments convincing Jones that it is possible for sentience to arise in simulo.
